Shashikant (Shashi) Jina
President
As President and Co-Founder of ASC Associates, Shashi Jina brings over 20 years of global IT consulting experience across multiple industrial sectors, including manufacturing, retail, distribution, and logistics. Under his leadership, ASC Associates has grown to address complex problem solving, utilizing IT, SCM and ERP tools, LeanSigma principles and business process reengineering to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings. He has implemented IT systems at GSK, IKEA, Komatsu, Sony and Honda. Prior to founding ASC Associates, Shashi was a Director with Gartner Group. He has also held senior positions at Benchmarking Partners, Baan and AT&T. He holds a MBA and MSC from Warwick University (England) and BSc. Mathematics. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional from APICS.
Dennis Samic
Chief Operating Officer
Dennis R. Samic, Chief Operating Officer of ASC Associates, has over 30 years experience in financial and organizational management positions as a military officer and business consultant. Mr. Samic has served as Chief Financial Officer for US Air Force units such as the Air Education and Training Command based in San Antonio, TX and the Air Force Materiel Command in Dayton, OH. As Senior Vice President & Division Group Manager for CACI for nine years he had P&L responsibilities for multiple divisions with activities in five geographic areas providing system support to Air Force, Navy, Marines, and State of Ohio organizations. At ASC Associates his direct duties include financial analysis, HR monitoring, contract management, and program support. Mr. Samic received a BS in Corporate Finance from the Ohio State University and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California.
 
Ranjan Jina
Vice President
As VP of Operations and Co-Founder, Ranjan is responsible for all the financial and administrative operations of ASC Associates. She brings over 10 years of best practice operational expertise having held leadership roles in the UK Parcel Force Organization, a government agency. She led the contract operations within the Procurement organizations. She has also held positions with the UK Postal Service.
Timothy A. Burkett
Federal Program Manager
Tim Burkett directly manages and leads federal program activities for ASC Associates, including contract management, project administration and systems support. His 40 plus years of experience as a systems engineer covers work carried out under his duties as an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant and, more recently, as a senior systems engineer supporting business process modeling, requirements analysis, and ERP architecture review for enterprise information technology management projects. After retiring from the Air Force, he entered the government civilian workforce on assignment as Chief Financial Officer for the Air Force District of Washington, where he was responsible for a $1.7 billion activity supporting training, business services, travel, acquisition, special procurement, international affairs, and professional education for Pentagon Department of Defense personnel and Air Force special programs. Mr. Burkett holds degrees in International Business and Computer Systems and is a certified supply chain professional.
 
Keith Smith
Site Lead St Louis Office
Keith Smith supports ASC Associates with all phases of supply chain management, including planning, scheduling, ERP design and implementation and project management. He has 25 years experience as a Supply Chain Analyst and served as an Air Force Mission Support Group Commander, directing and monitoring work to be accomplished by a support organization consisting of 140 full-time and 300 part-time employees. In that role, he managed base logistics functions to include supply, transportation/traffic management, vehicle operations and maintenance and fuels management Anticipated logistics problems related to operations and environmental and human factors. Mr. Smith has also worked as a SAP Implementation Project Manager at Monsanto, where he was selected as the Transportation and Distribution Team Project Manager for enterprise implementation of SAP R/3 responsible for design, testing, training, implementation, and migration support for receiving and shipping processes. He holds BS in Business Administration and MBA.
